Health-tech Hub Africa back again with the theme: "the future African public health system Through Innovation"

Kigali, Rwanda – The Health-tech Hub Africa is thrilled to announce its 2023 Investor Summit, to be
held at the Norrsken House in Kigali, Rwanda, from October 16th to 18th, 2023.
Both governments and the private sector play a crucial role in supporting equitable, inclusive, and
sustainable healthcare systems, Recognizing this, there is an urgent need for coordinated funding
models and mechanisms in health-tech. For the second consecutive year, the Health-tech Hub Africa
and its partners will bring together investors, startups, scale-ups, and policymakers for a two-day
event at the Norrsken House in Kigali, Rwanda.
The Health-tech Hub Africa is a health tech accelerator based in Kigali, Rwanda. Its mission is to
foster collaboration between startups and governments to drive data and technology-enabled
innovations that strengthen healthcare systems across Africa. Currently, the Hub hosts 68 scale ups and growth startups from 17 African countries, offering them a comprehensive program
designed to make a significant impact.
Over the next three years, our vision is to positively impact the health of 3 million individuals, support
over 120 African scale-ups and startups, raise more than $50 million in funding, and create 1,200
new local jobs in the African health-tech sector, among other ambitious goals that your involvement
will help us achieve
The summit will be a hybrid event, featuring keynotes, panels, startup pitches, expos, and facilitated
one-on-one meetings with selected startups. These activities will be conducted in front of a curated
in-person audience of up to 300 guests and will also be broadcast to a wider online audience,
The event’s agenda focuses on shaping the future of African public health systems through
innovative investments, facilitating strategic investment discussions, showcasing promising
innovations, and formulating a collaborative road map.
